Το βιβλίο αυτό εστιάζεται στο μεγαλύτερό του μέρος στη δημιουργική εργασιακή υπερκινητικότητα του σύγχρονου εικονολήπτη έτσι όπως διδάσκεται στις ξένες σχολές και ιδιαίτερα σ' εκείνες της Αμερικής. Το επάγγελμα του εικονολήπτη δεν είναι απλά και μόνο η χρήση της κάμερας και των συναφών παρελκομένων της. Είναι αντίθετα απόλυτα δημιουργικό τόσο σαν επάγγελμα όσο και σαν εξειδικευμένη θεωρητική γνώση. Το γεγονός άλλωστε ότι στην Αμερική ο εικονολήπτης λογίζεται και σαν ρεπόρτερ εξαιτίας του ότι η κάμερά του "βγάζει" οπτικές ειδήσεις αποτελεί ενισχυτικό στοιχείο της προαναφερόμενής μας συλλογιστικής. Επομένως αντικειμενικός σκοπός του παρόντος πονήματος είναι να κατανοήσει ο αναγνώστης αλλά και ο σπουδαστής της εικονοληψίας τον πρωτεύοντα όσο και ουσιαστικό του εργασιακό ρόλο στο ευρύτερο πεδίο της λεγόμενης ηλεκτρονικής εικόνας.--Πρόλογος |
